Portraits with Santa

Thank you to everyone that has come out, so far, to help raise funds for Rescue North.  It was a lot of fun photographing all the kids and pets, today.  We still have openings between 1pm and 4pm on Saturday Nov 26th.  You don’t need an appointment, just come over to the Super 8 in Kenora and get your portrait with Santa!

Pets really do round out our lives.

Well, I was visiting with my parents this evening…OK I confess I went to see the puppy, Freckles.  We are still trying to teach her not to counter surf, stop when told to, along with all the other things we need to do to teach our puppy proper manners.  Of course “They” tell you it’s the tone of voice and not the words that the dog understands, so the idea is when instructing your dog you are not supposed to laugh.  Kinda defeats the purpose, right?  The little monkey took off running  with the insole from my shoe.  I couldn’t help but laugh.  The look on her face was so funny.  So I’m trying to be authoritative, in my voice, and tell her “No” and “Drop It”.  Ya right.  She took off and hid under the dining room table hoping I wouldn’t see her.  Problem was her tail gave her away.  It was wrapped around the bottom and onto the top of the table.  Yep, I burst out laughing.  Crazy little monkey!  Her silly antics are always good for a laugh, gotta love it.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone that came out for our “Sweetheart Portraits” on Saturday.  We raised just over $230 for Rescue North and couldn’t have done it without our supporters.

Thank you!

Sweetheart Portraits

Pet Portraits

Well, if you are still unsure about coming to get your pet’s portrait…what are you waiting for?  Our appointments are booking up but we still have openings on Friday and Saturday.

Do you have more than one pet?  Don’t worry you can bring more than one. If you can control all of them you may bring them and get their Christmas Portrait done with or without Santa.

Walk-ins are welcome!

Pet Portraits with Santa

Mark your calendars for Pet Portraits with Santa on December 10th & 11th.  They are taking place at the Super 8 in the Minis Hall here in Kenora.  Bring your pets and your children.

We are raising money for Rescue North.  This is from their website www.rescuenorth.com

“Northwestern Ontario is currently  in an animal welfare crisis due to a combination of unique circumstances, environmental and cultural issues. For most of our vast region, there is NO help available for animals found OUTSIDE of communities with Animal Control Services. The need was already overwhelming but with the arrival of winter and brutally cold temperatures, there has been a further increase in the number of animals in urgent need of food, shelter and medical care.
Donations are needed to fund a new shelter, as well as cover costs associated with veterinary care, fostering or the transfer of newly rescued animals to other facilities, in the interim.”

Your investment in your pet’s portrait will be such a big help for Rescue North.  It’s only $30 for the portrait session and a 5×7 print.  That’s more than a $75 value!  And, of course you can order more prints to send out to family and friends, to hang in your home or the office and we do Christmas cards as well.
What a great opportunity for some adorable portraits!
